Yes, I'm still alive.

It was the busiest week of my entire career. I'm not gonna dwell too much on it but all I can say is that I'm glad it's over.

I slept little, food has lost it's taste and my children probably think I'm the neighbourhood Yakult lady when I'm at the gate and not their mother.

I'm feeling suffocated at work. Sometimes it is about the students but most often it is about people who are not willing to pick up the slack and people in higher management who cannot understand how the ground works. The unfortunate thing is, this is common in so many organisations.

I’m pushing 5 hours of sleep every night. Marissa really is a dream killer. Why does she have to look so cute? Well, at least she does to me. Then I wouldn’t wanna squish her and mash her with hugs and kisses even at 4am.
This is what I really need. My choice of liquids for a very trying week indeed. I need coffee in my blood stream like NOW.

I read with great interest an article in The Straits Times last week over my subway sandwich about how teachers should be paid more than bankers. Because after all, if not for teachers, we wouldn't have bankers or lawyers or doctors in the future.
